Sacheen N. Garrison
D.D.S.
Dr. Garrison was raised in
Huntington, West Virginia graduating with honors from Huntington High
School. She matriculated to Denison University, located in Granville,
Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry in 1996.
While at Denison, Dr. Garrison was on the Dean’s List, Who’s Who Among
Students in American Universities & Colleges, a Senior Fellow in the Chemistry
department – among other awards. She actively participated in student run
organizations, volunteered in community service organizations, and assisted
faculty in their scientific research examining complex molecular structures.
Dr. Garrison
later earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The Ohio State University,
College of Dentistry, in June 2001. In dental school, she enjoyed focusing on
preventive oral care and working with children. While in dental school, she did
an externship at the Navajo Indian Reservation in Gallup, New Mexico acquiring
more knowledge in areas such as oral surgery and pediatric dentistry.
Upon graduation, Dr. Garrison gained extensive experience working in two
colleague’s offices, one in Columbus and the other in Lancaster, Ohio, thus
providing her with a varied background in handling minor to more complex dental
cases. With a desire to open her own practice and continue her success of
providing quality dental care to patients, Dr. Garrison moved to Groveport, Ohio
in September 2002.
Dr. Garrison is a member of the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental
Association. She is licensed by the Ohio State Dental Board to practice
dentistry. She is a member of the Southeast Chamber of Commerce and regularly
supports local youth groups and Groveport area events. Dr. Garrison is committed
to learning new advancements in dental technologies that can enhance her
patients experience by regularly attending professional continuing education
courses throughout the year.
Dr. Garrison enjoys spending time with her husband, Oyauma, and 3 children:
daughter, Mya and sons Cameron and Carter. Dr.
Garrison’s family enjoys the outdoors and spending time with extended family.

Lori
Office Manager
Lori, our Office Manager, graduated from
Eastland Career Center’s Dental Assisting program in 1986.
Since that time, she has obtained valuable experience both
as an assistant and as an office manager. She has worked as
a dental assistant in both a periodontal and general dental
office and as a front desk administrator before coming to
this practice in 1992.
She is responsible for various aspects of running the office
such as scheduling appointments, handling insurance, and
answering patient questions among many other things.
Lori’s professional manner and knowledge of the field will
make answering any questions you may have regarding our
office and dental treatment easy to ask.
Melissa
Dental Hygienist
Melissa, our Dental Hygienist, graduated
from Shawnee State University in 1998 with her degree in
dental hygiene and is licensed by the Ohio State Dental
Board. Melissa enjoys educating her patients about their
oral hygiene and the importance of regular visits to the
dentist to maintain good oral health.
She is responsible for examining patient’s teeth and gums to
check for periodontal health, taking x-rays for a thorough
evaluation of dental health, removing hard and soft deposits
from the teeth, specialized periodontal therapy such as root
planning, and applying anti-cavity agents such as fluoride
and sealants to teeth.
Melissa’s friendly personality and gentle touch will allow
you to relax and feel comfortable no matter how long it’s
been since your last visit to the dentist.
